Why Private Pay
Choosing private-pay therapy allows for:
Greater privacy (no diagnosis required for insurance)
Flexibility in how therapy is structured
Consistent care without session limits or authorizations
The ability to focus on your actual goals
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Although I do not bill insurance directly, I am considered an out-of-network provider.
If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Please note:
A diagnosis is required for reimbursement
Coverage varies depending on your specific plan
Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of session fees after meeting a deductible
Clients often appreciate this option because it allows them to:
Access the benefits of private-pay therapy
Potentially reduce out-of-pocket costs
Choose a therapist based on fit, not insurance networks
Continue therapy as long as it is helpful, without session limits
Request a free 15min consultation
Taking the first step can feel like a lot, but it doesn’t have to be complicated.
